Active Auburn Fit Week set for Jan. 7-13
January 04 2024AUBURN, Ala.- Auburn Parks and Recreation's Active Auburn program is helping Auburn residents win their New Year resolutions with Fit Week 2024! If one of your goals this year is to get in better shape or focus more on health, then Fit Week is for you. Parks and Recreation fitness centers will be available for free Sunday, Jan. 7, through Saturday, Jan. 13, allowing the community to try out the economic gym-alternative.
Registration is required to take part in the promotion and can be found at auburnalabama.org/parks/register.
Participants will have access to the fitness centers at Frank Brown Recreation Center and Boykin Community Center. Both fitness centers are open to those who live or work within the city limits of Auburn, Alabama. Children ages 16-18 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Access is not open to those under the age of 16.
Outside of Fit Week, fitness centers are accessible to anyone with a Parks and Recreation Access Card. Access cards are available for a $30 fee and can be purchased online. Day passes are also available for $5/day. The Frank Brown Fitness Center is located at 235 Opelika Road, and the Boykin Fitness Center is located at 400 Boykin St.
